ある春の夜、風が嵐に吹き飛ばされて出会った一本の松。
やがて病気にかかり、心まで閉ざしてしまった松を救うため、風は松の洞の中に桜の種を落とします。
松は元気を取り戻し、桜は成長して美しい花を咲かせますが･･････。
幹は松、枝は桜、という実在の木から生まれて紡がれた、珠玉の短編。

A story about bonds, the value of life, and rebirth inspired by an actual tree.　The wind dropped a seed inside the hollow of its friend, the matsu. The matsu, a Japanese pine tree, had become sick and closed-minded. The seed of the sakura, a Japanese cherry tree, grew inside the matsu. With the sakura, the matsu revived?and that is how their story began...
